Who we are

The controller of the personal data collected through this website is Isabel Rodrigo, trading under the brand JWB jewelbe.

What data we process

We only process the data you choose to send us through the contact form or by email: name, email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message.

For security reasons, the server temporarily logs technical access data, such as the IP address, date and page requested. These logs are managed by the hosting provider and kept for the period it defines for security purposes.

To prevent abusive submissions, the contact form temporarily keeps a pseudonymised version of the IP address (a hash with a secret key) and the time of submission. These records are deleted automatically once they are no longer needed, as a rule within one hour.

Purposes and legal basis

Replying to your request and, where applicable, preparing a proposal or quotation: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

Replying to other enquiries and protecting the website against abuse: our legitimate interest in replying to those who contact us and in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for marketing or profiling, and we never sell it to third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as necessary to reply to and follow up on your request, up to a maximum of 12 months after the last contact. If your request leads to an order, the necessary data is kept for the applicable legal periods, namely for tax purposes.

Who has access

Your data is processed only by us. We use service providers acting as processors, on our behalf and under our instructions: the website hosting provider and the email service provider.

If any of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer only takes place with appropriate safeguards, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising or embedded social media content. Fonts and all other resources are served from our own server, with no requests to third parties.

Links to social networks are plain hyperlinks: those platforms’ privacy policies only apply once you open them.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Simply write to jwb.jewelbe@gmail.com. We reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt, or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Security

This website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The version in force is always available on this page, together with the date of the last update.

In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the Portuguese version prevails.
